Welcome Nonprofit  Partners

Nonprofit community partners strengthen the community tremendously.

The Volunteer Center attentively serves the nonprofits of Brown County to

bolster their work, advocate on their behalf, and support their vision.

The Volunteer Center aids these agencies through:

  • Volunteers: The Volunteer Center mobilizes volunteer efforts and directs volunteers directly to our affiliate partners.

  • Promotion: The Volunteer Center continuously promotes the events and volunteer opportunities of our partners via social media, published listings in the Green Bay Press-Gazette, email notifications, a link on our website, inclusion in our monthly Volunteer Times publication, and inclusion in Volunteer Connect, the Volunteer Center's weekly e-newsletter, which reaches over 6,000 people. With more than 3,800 likes on our Facebook page, and 3,320 active volunteers on our online volunteer database Get Connected, the Volunteer Center truly has a market ripe for an agency's use.

  • Information: The Volunteer Center pursues the success of all agencies in the region. Part of achieving this goal is the relay of information. The Volunteer Center notifies partnering agencies of volunteer management opportunities, seminars, community initiatives, funding opportunities, and so much more.

The Volunteer Center’s goal is to be the hub of volunteer activity in Brown County, not merely by helping volunteers find a home, but through helping agencies continue their meaningful and vital work.
